Last week the sweetest little girl came over for a fun "smash the cake" session! This was so much fun. I really don't think she knew what to make of the bright pink cupcake we gave her. I could just see her thinking "Really? This is all mine. The whole thing?" After, we headed to a fun location for outdoor images. Love the dress and bow she had on. It suited her perfectly. Happy Birthday Riley!


This is my absolute favorite from the day!
Don't you just love the way she has her arms up! Images like these are what I love so much more than a typical " shoot and print" mall studio! Custom photography is different from the beginning to the end. I am thinking of doing a before and after post just to show what all goes into creating these images. Once the images are taken alot goes on behind the "camera":) Lots of time and attention to detail go into each and every image.

I am way behind in posting! It seems I have been posting more on facebook and less on my blog so I need to catch up:) I have several sessions to share with you!

The beautiful twins are here! I am so excited to share their pictures with you. One girl and one boy! How blessed are these parents?!? So amazing to see two newborns together at one time and to think that only a week earlier they were in their momma's tummy! Keep checking back, I will be posting more soon! These are the first few I have edited.

I am adding this new one! It may be my favorite. I just love the way they are holding hands.

Sweet Lily! {atlanta newborn photographer}

Every time I get the amazing opportunity to photography a newborn baby I realize what an amazing gift God has placed in the new parents hands. The child is a blessing and a gift, sweet and pure. I love holding the tiny baby in my arms and getting to capture these moments for new parents. They grow sooo fast and change so quickly. If there was every a time to capture in photographs it is definitely a newborn.

Twins! {Atlanta Maternity photographer}

Well, This beautiful soon to be Momma and her husband came to visit me this past weekend and she is expecting TWINS! I am super excited for her! These are her first 2 babies and it is really hard to believe she is having two. She is really tiny and has absolutely the cutest belly!

We were on the phone and email talking wardrobe and ideas all week and she really brought some great selections:) I always look forward to seeing what clothes people bring. I think I must like playing dress up!

The "S" family!

This sweet and beautiful family of five and I ventured out on a very chilly Thursday for a fall session! I really had a great time photographing this family! They are so good looking that I think the parents need to lock them up:) If you are looking for inspiration on how to dress without matching, definitely take a look at their outfits! This is the BIG wedding i traveled to South Carolina to photograph. Isn't Lauren the prettiest bride? She seemed relaxed and calm the whole day! But even if there were some nerves this family knows how to have a great time! I love it when the whole day is about celebrating the love between the bride and groom. At the end of the night the groomsmen even started throwing the Bride and Groom into the air I can't wait to post that picture:) Lauren is even more special to me because she is my cousin and it is amazing that she is grown and married now.
